Energy Beyond
the Grid
Leadership and Heritage
Aegis Power Solutions delivers turnkey development, design, financing, and management for commercial and industrial power projects across the United States. We engineer customized infrastructure integrating solar, wind, and gas generation with battery storage; to meet specific financial and operational targets.
This capability rests on a leadership team with over a century of combined experience in the energy and construction sectors. Our principals hold a track record encompassing more than 1,000 megawatts of power generation disciplines, extending from nuclear facility quality assurance and gigawatt-scale natural gas plants to commercial solar portfolios. With a history of structuring over $280 million in project capital and managing large-scale operations, Aegis executes the complete development lifecycle, from site origination and entitlement to engineering and asset management.

Integrated Power Infrastructure
Aegis Power Solutions delivers scalable, custom-engineered commercial energy infrastructure for projects of any scope.
For large-scale facilities: industrial complexes, manufacturing plants, data centers, etc; we engineer integrated platforms rather than standalone products. We design the specific asset mix required to deliver firm power at a competitive Levelized Cost of Energy.
By combining renewable generation with robust backup and storage, Aegis Power Solutions delivers reliable energy for the most demanding applications.
Microgrids
Our core offering creates a localized energy network capable of autonomous operation. This system integrates thermal generation, renewables, and storage under a single master control logic. It allows commercial facilities to operate in parallel with the utility or to disconnect completely for islanded operation during grid instability. This architecture also supports a "Bridge-to-Grid" strategy where assets are deployed to energize a facility immediately while waiting for long-term utility interconnection.
Thermal Generation
Mission-critical uptime requires dispatchable power that does not depend on weather conditions. We deploy high-efficiency thermal assets including prime-rated reciprocating engines and turbines. These units provide the necessary inertia to start heavy industrial motors and the load-following capability required by hyperscale computing. Our hardware selection prioritizes fuel flexibility with many units engineered to run on natural gas, diesel, or future blends of hydrogen and renewable natural gas.
Battery Energy Storage Systems
Storage is the stabilizer of the modern power plant. We utilize high-density lithium-ion arrays to manage the transient load spikes common in AI and advanced manufacturing. Beyond power quality, these systems function as financial instruments. The control software charges the batteries during off-peak windows and discharges them during peak pricing hours to reduce demand charges and lower total operating expenses.
Commercial Photovoltaics
Solar energy functions as the primary fuel saver in our hybrid model. We focus on maximizing yield density within the available footprint through the use of bifacial modules and single-axis tracking systems. These technologies capture albedo light and broaden the daily generation window. Capitalizing this generation upfront creates a long-term hedge against utility rate inflation and volatility.
Combined Heat and Power
Cogeneration converts thermal waste into operational value. Our designs capture the heat produced by reciprocating engines or turbines during electricity generation. For manufacturing, this heat supports industrial processes. For data centers and large campuses, we implement Combined Cooling, Heat, and Power (CCHP) by using absorption chillers. This process converts waste heat into chilled water for facility cooling, eliminating the electrical load of mechanical chillers.
Small Modular Reactors
As data center power density grows, land constraints become a limiting factor. Aegis is actively engaging with Small Modular Reactor technology partners to address future baseload requirements. SMR technology offers a carbon-free solution capable of providing gigawatt-scale power on a compact footprint without the intermittency constraints of wind or solar.
